ABOUT THE SITE

My writing site is based on my personal stumbling blocks. It is my hope
the articles listed below will be of great help to beginning writers and a
refresher for the more advanced.

  • Understanding point of view.
  • Effective transitions.
  • Using the 8 senses.
  • Understanding and using emotional layering in scenes.
  • How to "show" instead of "tell".
  • How to handle interior monologue in 3rd person.
  • Identifying active and passive voice.
  • Breaking writers block.
  • How to write a 1 page synopsis.
  • How to copyright a novel without expense.
  • What an ISBN number is and why you need one to publish.
  • Exploring the advantages and disadvantages of electronic
    publishing.

Does the work never end? Well, in my case--no. After reaching the
decision to e-publish, I built my own web site, learning html in the
process. The website you are now surfing is the end result of my efforts.
When you are ready to build your site, surf the articles below.

  • Learning HTML.
  • Finding simple to understand HTML resources.
