TAYLOR'S MUSEUM

I chose a watercolor collage technique for this picture, experimenting
with emotion using moody colors to create a pensive lady. I'm glad I
did because she won a grand champion ribbon in the Cowley County Fair.

I worked on a cardboard loom to make this pretty weed pocket. The flowers are silk roses. It took about nine hours from start to finish. My mother enjoys looking at it in the living room. And so do I. This weed pocket took first place which is a blue ribbon.

I made this clay bowl and decorated it with coyotes, strings
of beads, and guinea feathers. This pot--a grand champion ribbon winner--was the hardest and took the longest to do. The bowl has a unique finish.

I made this drawling on the computer in the paint program. I learned how to use all the tools and how to use them correctly. Mistakes were easy to correct because all you have to do is go to edit and undo. You have to concentrate to avoid making mistakes. It would be best if you did not talk while drawing.

This drawing won a first place ribbon.

My vase was made out of two pinch pots. My art teacher, Ms.Eaton, gave me a secret formula for a terrific finish. I used guinea and exotic maribou feathers, and colorful beads for a unique touch.

This vase won a first place ribbon also.

This is an acrylic painting. I had to learn how to mix colors before I could paint this picture. I had to learn how to blend the colors for the background. My art teacher especially loved the vibrant colors on the parrot.

The judge at the fair loved it, too--another ribbon winner. YEAA!!!!!!!
