Season 2011 Fall Classes began: September 2010.

A student's placement in class is determined by level, not necessarily by age. Teachers will determine where a student can best develop their individual technique. Boys and Girls are welcome in all classes.

Classes:

Combo: Tap, Ballet, Jazz & Tumbling
Hip Hop: The newest form of dance for kids plus tumbling. Boys love this class!
Jazz/Lyrical: The expression of lyrics in a song through dance. It's a combination of jazz, modern, and ballet.
Theatrical: Singing, Dancing & Acting to songs from Musicals.

DDC's High Performance Dance Company:

DDC Company Classes will be traveling locally to several competitions this year (Wichita, Tulsa, Oklahoma city, Branson).

Recreational Classes:

All classes meet once a week and do not require previous dance training. More for the dancer who wants to have fun.

Recital:

2011 Recital is scheduled for (TBD) Dress Rehersal. Saturday and Sunday Performances @ Century II (Mary Jane Teal Theatre). The cost of tickets will be $4.00 per person (must buy prior - no tickets sold at event). Dancers and Children are free. Parents receive 2 VIP tickets with their Annual Registration Fee.

Attire:

Any color leotard, tights, jazz pants, shorts, tank tops are acceptable. Boys attire: athletic pants or shorts, t-shirt or tank top.

Season 2011:

September - June.

Costumes:

RECREATIONAL COSTUMES: A theme or color scheme will be announced in December and you may purchase or use something you already have for your costume.

Shoes:

All students may wear Foot Thong, Foot Undeez or Dance Paws, jazz shoes, Dansneakers. Go to ww.discountdance.com for the best prices.

Recital Pictures:

Recital is open for pictures to be taken during event. Please feel free to bring your camera.

Video photographer:

DDC will not be providing a professional video photographer. Please feel free to bring your camcorder.

Location:

DDC is conveniently located on 135th and 87th just 2 miles North of Clearwater.

Care of Students:

DDC is not responsible for providing before or after class care for students. Students are not to be left at the school for excessive time periods before or after their classes.
