Congratulations to Velma Conklin of Grenola, the winner of this year’s Southeast Kansas Area Directory Cover Photo Contest. She entitled her winning photo, “Old But Not Forgotten.” She captured this snowy-day photo of a threshing machine at the Grenola Elevator Museum.

Winning second place was Janice Billiter of Atlanta. She says of her photo, “Just an old tree chained together so it won’t fall apart (it’s such a nice tree!).

And taking third place was Kayci Bowman of Burden with a photo of  a Burden railroad crossing at sunset.
