Events & Community Involvement Dexter BBQ Mid-day Photos
SKT Employees, Dan, Jill, and Cathleen joined in the Dexter BBQ Parade, held at high noon on Saturday, July 14th. Dan drove an SKT service truck, while Jill and Cathleen walked behind it tossing candy. Some of our biggest fans were a group of fine young men riding directly behind us on their bicycles! The kids’ games were in full swing afterward, complete with turtle races (we saw the tub with the contestants in it). We even got to sample some of the best BBQ on the planet. We enjoyed seeing the Dexter Swimming Pool, Lighthouse Library, the Barn Quilt Trail, senior center, Grouse Valley Equipment, post office, museum, Grouse Valley Grill, and of course, we sure had to stop in at Henry’s Candy! At each location, we dropped off a flyer for the upcoming SKT Pool Party in Dexter, set for Tuesday, July 24th from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. We love hanging out in the Grouse Valley! Thanks for a great time on Saturday and we look forward to more fun a week from tomorrow.
