News SKT Office Temporarily Closed to Public
We will continue to serve you during the coronavirus pandemic.
At SKT, we are dedicated to putting people first and doing our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Due to the increasing number of confirmed COVID-19 cases and the progression toward our service area, the SKT office at 112 S. Lee in Clearwater will be closed to the public effective immediately.
From a customer perspective, our operations will otherwise continue as usual, with a few additional safety precautions in place. We will continue to maintain our network, complete residential and business service repairs and new service installations, and provide support for all of our services by phone or through our website contact form. This includes service upgrades, other account changes, and troubleshooting any issues you may experience. Please note the following important customer service information and changes to procedures for in-home installations and repairs:
- Customer Service: Call 888.758.8976 or contact us online.
- Bill Pay: Call 888.758.8976 or pay online. We also have a payment dropbox in front of our building at 112 S. Lee in Clearwater or you can pay by mail.
- Technician Visits: Please notify our staff of any illness in your household when you are scheduling your appointment. Often, repairs can be made by phone, remotely from our office, or on the outside of the home, without risking anyone’s health. We will deploy technicians to homes as necessary and reserve the right to reschedule an installation or service call should the technician deem it necessary due to health concerns. If you have concerns about installations or in-home service calls, we’re here to support you and offer flexibility to reschedule at your convenience. For years, our customer service team has worked from home part-time, so we were already fully equipped to make the transition to full-time remote work without an interruption in service to you. Rest assured that we will continue to provide the same level of hometown customer service that you have come to expect from SKT.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we do our part in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and our customers. We will continue to closely monitor reports from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and federal, state, and local agencies, and will adjust our business operations as needed.
