Rural Wichita
Construction is underway near 151st & MacArthur, bringing fiber internet with up to 2 Gbps symmetrical speeds to rural Wichita, Clearwater and Goddard homes.

Rural Clearwater - North
We are expanding our fiber network to about 100 rural Clearwater homes north of town. Residents and businesses will have access to up to 2 Gbps download and upload – 100 times faster than the top download speed available with DSL.

Rosalia
We have expanded our fiber network to residents and businesses in Rosalia, Kan., located about 12 miles east of El Dorado. They will be among the first in the nation to have access to up to 2 Gbps download and upload. That’s 26 times faster download and 200 times faster upload speed compared to what’s offered with the existing copper infrastructure.

Rural Haysville
In 2021, SKT was awarded a Broadband Acceleration Grant from the State of Kansas. With the grant and SKT’s matching funds, 24 rural Haysville homes and one nonprofit organization will get access to up to 1 Gbps fiber internet. This project was completed in May 2022.

Rural Clearwater - 95th Street
Seventeen homes and one business along 95th Street, north of Clearwater, will have access to fiber internet with up to 1 Gbps – 50 times faster than the top speed available with DSL. This project was completed in April 2022.

Rural Clearwater - Dutch Hill Area
More than 40 homes in the Dutch Hill neighborhood and nearby area, located east of Clearwater, now have access to fiber internet with up to 1 Gbps – 50 times faster than the top speed available with DSL. This project was completed in December 2021.
