If you choose self-installation, follow these instructions:

1. Plug in the power cord to the Mesh power port and into the wall outlet. (Pro tip: for the best success in pairing the device to your existing equipment, start this process near your router. Once the Mesh unit is paired, move it to the desired location.)
2. Press and hold the WPS button on the SKT Router for at least 8 seconds, release the WPS and the LED will blink amber.
3. Go to the Mesh and hold the WPS button until the signal strength LED begins to flash (you have a maximum of 2 minutes between button pushes).
4. The services should now be paired with each other.

If the signal strength indicator is red, the Mesh is too close to the router. When the indicator is green, they are at an optimal distance from each other.
