Internet What do I do if I can’t get on the Internet?
Power Cycle your Modem and Router
Turn the equipment off and back on in this particular sequence:
- Turn off your computer(s).
- Unplug the modem’s power cord.
- If a router is connected, unplug the router’s power cord.
- Check for loose cables.
- Plug in the modem.
- Plug in the router.
- Wait a couple minutes for it to re-establish a connection. Launch a browser and wait to see if the page comes up.
- If this doesn’t work, there may be a temporary outage.
Check for service outage
Turn the equipment off and back on in this particular sequence:
- Wait 15-30 minutes and try to get on the Internet again.
