Community Events Celebrating Motherhood and Mother Nature

The beautiful gardens of the Bartlett Arboretum will be open all day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mother’s Day, with the “Wine, Women & Songs” Treehouse Concert event beginning at 4 p.m.
Three female crooners — Janet Rutland (Country), Rachel Coba (Blues), and Robin Macy (Folksinger) are sure to delight. Kansas’ own Wheat State Winery will be offering samples. Cost is $10 per person with children free if “kept under wing.” Pack a picnic or Luciano’s Tuscan Cuisine and Neive’s Taco Wagon food trucks will also be onsite.
