Severy’s Annual Labor Day Celebration will begin on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. with a Kids’ Fishing Derby at Severy Lake and end with a Family Fun Night beginning at 7:00 p.m. The celebration continues Sunday, September 1 with a Cornhole & Horseshoe Tournament beginning at 11:00 a.m., a Gospel Singspiration at the Nazarene Church at 6:00 p.m., followed by Homemade Cake & Ice Cream, and ending with a Softball Game and Fireworks! Monday, September 1 is a big day of celebration, beginning with Biscuits and Gravy at 7:00 a.m., the Labor Day Parade at 10:00 a.m., Harkey, the Clown, Box Turtle Races, Hay Scramble & Hay Toss after the parade, Car Show from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Acoustic Show and Watermelon Feed at Noon, Lawn Tractor Pull and Afternoon Kids’ Activities beginning at 2:00 p.m., and Drawing at 3:00 p.m. Plus, there will be FOOD VENDORS and ARTS & CRAFTS BOOTHS!
